PASTA

Making pasta from scratch is a simple process and can be a fun way to get creative in the kitchen. Here is a basic recipe for making homemade pasta:

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

3 large eggs

1 tsp olive oil

Salt, to taste

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, eggs, olive oil and salt. Mix until the ingredients come together and form a dough.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. You can use a rolling pin or a pasta machine for this.

Cut the dough into your desired shape, such as fettuccine or spaghetti.

Dust the pasta with flour to prevent sticking and let it dry for a few minutes before cooking it.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once the water is at a rolling boil, add the pasta and stir gently.

Cook the pasta for 2-3 minutes for fresh pasta or longer if it's dried pasta.

Drain the pasta and toss with your desired sauce or toppings.

You can also experiment with different types of flour, such as semolina, or add in other ingredients like spinach or beetroot to give it a unique color and flavor. Enjoy your homemade pasta!
